Join Jessica on Friday June 30th from 5:30 - 7pm for an evening of relaxation. Come wearing your comfy clothes and get ready to get your relax on! She will be doing a one and a half hour Yoga Nidra workshop guiding you through a total body relaxation. Let the stress of the week wash away as you drift into a state of effortless relaxation. You might be wondering what Yoga Nidra is? It means Yoga Sleep; it is a guided meditation that allows you to walk through your body working towards allowing yourself to release, relax and let go of the tension the body is holding. During this class you will be lying down in a supported position while being guided through a Nidra Meditation. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
This is an all levels that is perfect for anyone that can get up and down off of the floor.
