Come and join us at the picturesque Double Durango Farm for Halloween Goat Yoga! YES, WE ARE DRESSING UP THE GOATS!!!! Please feel free to dress up yourself . Please make sure that you will be able to move around. One of our yoga instructors from 3 Down Dogs Yoga will be leading a beginner's friendly yoga class under our strung up Edison lights in a beautifully well manicured pasture. We will have the cutest, fuzziest and most curious trick or treaters joining us in their own adorable costumes during class. We have dwarf Nigerian goats here at Double Durango Farm. These goats are incredibly sweet and curious. All the goats that we use are under a year old. Please be aware that the goats are curious about EVERYTHING and LOVE to taste test things, so be mindful of what you bring with you to class. We will have our goat wranglers walking around during the class and they would be more than happy to take a photo for you at any time or bring you a goat for a selfie.
Don't worry if it turns out to be a rainy evening. We have a spacious open air barn that is just for such events. We will still be able to stretch out and enjoy the class rain or shine.
You can't help but have an amazing time while you are visiting the farm, so grab a friend and come cuddle a goat! We promise to make it an unforgoatable time full of smiles and laughs.
What can I bring into the event?
We encourage you to bring a yoga mat or beach towel, and water. There will be mats available to rent for $5 (CASH ONLY). Wear clothes that you are comfortable in and with a goat jumping or nibbling on, some prefer t-shirts or dark colors since hooves can be scratchy or dirty at times. Flip flops are nice for an easy on/off. Goats are attracted to jewelry, less is more unless you want it eaten! Use your discretion of whether you want sunscreen, bug spray, phone, etc.
We will have a clean up crew in case of goat accidents. Pee and poo does occasionally happen, but goat poo is pellets that brush away easily. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR PETS ALLOWED!
